CAMBODIA 'Cambodia' Ship of 914 tons.

The whole of the Cambodia's immigrants, together with their luggage, were landed in Brisbane at the close of last week. They are a healthy and cleanly body of people, and their appearance reflects credit upon those who have had charge of them. The hiring has gone on with tolerable briskness, and there remained in the depot yesterday, out of the whole number landed, 130 married people (65 couples), 7 single men, and 15 single women, besides children. The Surgeon Superintendent of the ship, Dr Beale, is a gentleman who visited Brisbane about five years ago, under very different circumstances. He is the individual to whose forethought and skill the passengers and crew of the 'Jenny Lind', wrecked on Kenn's Reef, owed their preservation from that most fearful of all deaths, famishment for want of water. It will be remembered that Mr. Beale contrived, with the aid of an old cistern and some piping, to distil fresh water from the sea, and thus supplied all hands until a boat was built, with which they came on to Moreton Bay.
